Terms of Use and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in and access to any virtual or in-person training programs, workshops, and related events (collectively referred to as the “Programs”) organized by Clinical Research Training Academy (CRTA) (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By registering for or attending any of our Programs, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Registration and Payment

    Full payment of the Program fee is required at the time of registration, unless otherwise stated.

    Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment and a confirmation email from CRTA.

    All fees are quoted and payable in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated.

3. Program Changes and Cancellations by CRTA

    CRTA reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any Program at its discretion, including in cases where minimum participant enrollment has not been met.

    If CRTA cancels a Program, participants will receive a full refund of the registration fee paid.

    CRTA shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, loss of income, or any consequential damages.

    CRTA may substitute instructors, adjust course content, or change the delivery format (e.g., from in-person to virtual) as necessary without prior notice.

4. Participant Cancellations and Refund Policy

Your notice of cancellation must be received in writing by email to CRTA’s Customer Service Department at info@CRT.Academy prior to the start of the course.

CRTA Course Cancellation Policy

    Prior to 10 business days before the course start date:
    You will receive an Event Pass equal to the value of your registration. This Event Pass may be applied toward a future CRTA course of equal value within twelve (12) months of the issue date. The original Event Pass must be surrendered when registering for the future course (by email only). Event Passes are not transferable to other CRTA programs, such as conferences, webinars, or product orders.

    Within 10 business days before the course:
    No Event Pass will be issued, and no refunds will be provided.

    Note: CRTA does not refund registration fees for participant cancellations under any circumstances.

5. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and respect throughout all CRTA Programs. CRTA reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate, without refund or compensation.

6. Recording, Photography, and Intellectual Property

    Recording, photography, or screenshotting by participants during any CRTA Program (virtual or in-person) is strictly prohibited without prior written permission.

    CRTA reserves the right to record sessions, capture photographs, or take screenshots during Programs for educational, promotional, and marketing purposes.

    By attending our Programs, you

    grant CRTA permission

    to use photos, recordings, or images that may include your likeness, voice, or participation for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes, without compensation.

    All course materials, including slides, handouts, and recordings, are the intellectual property of CRTA and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

    CRTA’s total liability for any claim related to a Program shall not exceed the registration fee paid by the participant.

    CRTA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to travel costs, accommodation, or loss of income, arising from your participation in or inability to attend a Program.

8. Privacy Policy

CRTA collects and processes personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws and its Privacy Policy. By registering for a Program, you consent to such collection and use of your information for administrative and promotional purposes related to CRTA programs.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or from your participation in a CRTA Program shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
